FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

01.  Do I need power in the garage?

Short Answer - Yes.

The ideal situation is to have a plug socket near to where your current garage door is but we can supply an extension cable if your garage socket is away from the door.  Alternatively, we can recommend an electrician to install a double socket for you - if you don't have the details of your own tradesperson.

Current price for a double socket installation is around £80-100 but this can change due to difficulty of installation etc.  Price for an extension lead is £9!

02.  Who should I contact if I have any queries?

The contact form is a good way to get in touch, so are texts and emails (details above).  It's very hard to answer the phone during the day as I may have an installation to contend with!

03.  How can I cancel or change my order?

Once an order has been placed there is a very small opportunity for change or cancellation - ERG has to be informed immediately .  Once the order is taken, manufacture of the bespoke item soon begins.  If the door is being made there is no chance that an item can be cancelled as it has been measured and made to fit your door only. You will be charged full price, unfortunately.

04.  How long will it take to get my door?

From the point of an order being taken to an installation date is approximately 3 weeks.  This may change over time due to unforseen things like Covid-19 or it might simply be that certain items are out of stock.  Information regarding this will be passed on at the survey.  Of course, if you place an order but don't want the door fitting for 2 months - that is totally fine! Just remember the timeframe in FAQ3.

05.  What does your price include?

The price includes: the survey, supply and installation.  It also is inclusive of VAT.  The doors are all of the 77mm insulated slat type (which is much stronger than the 55mm) and include 2 remotes as standard, a safety-edge, internal control box with light and internal override sytem.

The price doesn't include any plastic fascia or trim to finish off the installation, this will be discussed at the survey.  Some installations don't need any trim - it depends on how straight your walls are!

06.  What colours are there?

There is a wide range of colour options for the door and frame; this enables you to complement and enhance the look of your property. The standard box and guide colour for all coloured curtains is white, although bespoke powder coating is available.

*Colours shown are an indication of the standard colours available and customers are asked to look at samples before ordering as colours can look slightly different on computer screens.
